Now for an actual comment: This is actually informative, and helped me understand comparators better. Thank you!

1:33 This is a signal strength. of 2, so it will go 2 blocks, and then it gives up on life.

I love the shift register—I’m still mentally stuck in 1.4 so that’ll actually be super useful lol

Bro, that scalled too fast

This was super helpful! I was able to use the adder you showed to boost signal strengths that I needed to read 20 blocks above the source without making a massive comparator tower

Awesome thanks for sharing. Very well done video, but my one suggestion for future videos is less camera movement and slower fly bys so i can get screenshots easier please! Looking up/down & side to side so rapidly along with the explanations just makes it harder to follow or grab screen shots. I dont mean to criticize, just a suggestion. You're my new favorite redstone channel, man!! Keep up the good work!

I love this so much because there are hardly any up to date videos about comparators

The fact he needs five minutes to explain the function for one block is a testament to the complexity of the comparator

This is actually a really cool video, good job!

With the last one you place and remove a comparator. If you place the lectern one to the front. And put a block behind it with a piston and a button. You can make it a 'set' button. The comparator will take the signal of the lectern through a block

Is there a circuit to turn the pulse of an observer into a permanent on or off signal?
