SYNOPSIS

A time-tell tale of boy meets girl set in rural Vietnam, Sơn falls for Thảo the moment he sets eyes on her. Thảo, on the other hand, is less than interested. Unfazed, Sơn is determined to woo Thảo and do whatever it takes to win her hand. However, he soon learns that getting the girl is only the beginning of his problems...

Will a foolish young boy searching for love be able to prevail over the test of time and faith to finally marry the girl of his dreams?

This year's culture night, "Qua Cầu Gió Bay | Bridge of Promise" is a story of raw perseverance, the beauty and naiveté of young love, and the conundrum of finding the balance between modern and traditional values. Join us as we explore the core of these themes through a multi-faceted performance featuring drama, dance, and music by the students of UCSD and SDSU!
