Finally. I was so annoyed with the direction the episode looked to be going. Mellie back in the White House, Olivia distanced from Fitz, falling back in bed with "the second fiddle, " everyone putting on a show for the press. It looked like a rehash of the last 4 seasons. When it was coming the last minute of the show, I was thinking, if she doesn't come out with the truth right now, I'm done with this show. Fitz has made plenty of grand gestures for her. It's her turn to make the grand gesture for him. I involuntarily clapped and whooped when she said, "Yes" even though most of the people in my house are asleep right now.

That hotel scene with Jake was gross and just proves Liv needs a good girlfriend. A sista would have answered Liv's question of "How did you I get here?" Um when you went to his hotel room that night. That's how you got here. Now put your big girl boots on and deal with the situation you created, stopped running.

Some of these comments just simply blows my mind. Can see that many just started watching, are children, does not realize the show is REALLY about an African American Fixer in the WH, and that the writing is simply bad. How on earth there's analysis on this show baffles the mind. There are waaaayyy too many inconsistencies, writers forget what they have written from one season to the next and from one episode to the next. I have watched GA, PP, and now Scandal (actually stopped mid season 3). All three shows are similar with different people. Characters should stay true to who they are unles they have mental illness, then they will behave with characteristic of the speific mental illness, so even there they remain true to the character. Not on Scandal, they become what the writers want them to be, which can give the viewer a whiplash. Olitz rules!!! After OP threw the ring at Fitz, Scandal lost 2 million viewers the following week. I dare them to make the show about Olake (Joke who chokes) and let's see how long this show will last. Does not matter how they write Fitz, or what Kennelia, Sofia or those people think. So many of us fell in love with Olitz and their love and we are sticking with that. I really prefer not to see Joke's face so I no longer watch this crazily written plot holes of a show. ABC also knows who runs this show, it's not Olake, Mellivia or any such nonsense. Its OP and Olitz.

This episode didn't bore me as much as last week's but it still feels hollow.  OPA is still deserted and I just don't get why they don't kill Huck off.  He's too far gone whether he gets "fixed" or not.  It can't be done IMO.  He always claims he is fine then here he is having blood milkshakes.  I loved when Cyrus was telling Abby what to do and how to handle a child IE Fitz.  Fitz has always been the epitome of a child and now he is acting like just cause he got laid again that he is the ultimate unstoppable hypocrite.  Talking about Mellie can go to jail, uh asswipe did you forget all the murders you committed or the treason you have done?  I just wonder if their writing Fitz that delusional or if the writers just forgot lol.  At the end of the day HE is the one that's told how to behave after his childish ass is put in the corner.  His douchebaggery in this episode was like a toddler that is butt hurt over not getting what he wants.  It was predictable Liv stupidly admitted to being Fitz's mistress but Mellie is back in the WH playing his wife so even with her suicidal confession it looks like she will once again be Fitz's secret toy to pull out when he's horny. Zzz next.  I enjoyed all of Jake and Liv's scenes where they were working together (Bonnie and Clyde! lol) They have a great relationship and bond whether their being intimate or just friends.

What gets me is this how in the world is Mellie going to destroy Olivia? 1) Mellie doesn't have the means or the power (2) if she counting on Cyrus he has no more power can't pull anyone's string anymore plus if Cyrus does find a way back in he'll throw Mellie under the bus because those 2 are out only for themself (3) Olivia has Stephen who is with the Russian Mafia and even though she has not been a good mother she's got Maya and to top that off Olivia got two people who will do what it takes
