I was at the same achoolhouse where they train 0511s. One of my good friends is an 0511, and it's a pretty short course too at about 1 ½ ish months

Not even, 2887s are by far the rarest MOS in the Corps. They have 2 Gunny slots, for the entire Corps.

I was an 0847 when I was in the Corps back in the 90’s there was maybe 50-60 of us at any given time.

Heard they combined the MOS with 0844 and I believe 0842 into 1 MOS.

0370/0372 are the hardest and most uncommon for their extreme training about 70-80% drop out each year and what is their name MARSOC/Marine Raiders AKA the Navy SEALS of the Marine Corps they are the most elite marine special operations force and have been a great contribution to the SOCOM organization, their is no one like them and no one better. Marines, the few of the proud.
