My man heard “touch grass” and took it to heart. You are an inspiration, may you keep on pulling off incredible feats of Google Earth and traveling the world.

Your video/vlog is so unusually real. I've watched well over a dozen of these as I prepare for Kili in a few weeks - yours is the most important. My favorite of course is when you are narrating and see something that touched you deeply during the trek - you cannot not smile and look at it and listen and remember how great it was. We can be in the middle of a mess for an entire day but there are those couple of minutes that bring so much joy that the entire experience was worthwhile. If I didn't see you smiling as you watched yourself say how proud you were to summit, I think I would not have thought too much of your production. Thanks for putting this together. I am more invigorated - at 70 years old I appreciate anything that is encouraging. Thanks for carrying the logs and the boat.

I really appreciate that you mention how big a role the porters played. Those guys are never talked about, people get literally carried up Everest by Sherpas and pretend they did it on their own so it's great to see. Love your content dude, one of the most genuine people on YouTube and it's crazy that I actually feel happy to see a complete stranger succeeding, you deserve it man.

Saw you break into tears and hug the other guy at the summit literally said it all about how hard climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is..Mr. Rainbolt, thank you for sharing this unforgetable experience with us. I'm so happy that you can make it to the top safely. And a big shoutout to those people who came along with you, especially porters!! They show us how much support really means to someone.

And also, you should make a compilation of this year. From climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to hosting the World Cup this year is wild!!

Rainbolt: "I was so down bad"
Everyone: "I don't think that means what you think it means"

Yo rainbolt, amazing job! I did the exact same thing you did in 2018, same route, same camps, same lack of training, except I had -40 degree weather on summit day, and no headaches! It was so nostalgic watching the videos and photos of your trip scroll by, all looking exactly the same as when I did it, so tha k you for letting me relive it. I know 1000% that I would NOT do it again, once was more than enough for me! Serious congratulations because I can vouch that it is the heardest, and yet most rewarding thing I've ever done. Big love dude ❤

So amazing watching your trip up there Rainbolt. I did the exact same trip up there exactly 8 years to the date that you did it. Watching the video brought back so many memories of the trip and so amazing that you had a clear sky for you summit day. There is nothing more motivating than seeing the sunrise on summit day and knowing just how close you are. Such an amazing video and so nostalgic watching it and bringing back memories of my own trip.

Type 2 fun, the best kind of fun, the kind that feels like true hell when you're in the moment but when you look back upon it seems like the greatest thing you've done in your life. Type 2 fun is memories that will last literally forever, they are the kind of stories you'll tell your grandkids about and they're the kind of memories that will bring you out of the darkness when everything else feels bleak. These adventures truly give us life, you'll learn so much about yourself and the world around you, and nothing can take those accomplishments away from you. I highly recommend anyone to go overnight hiking, whether that's to climb a mountain or just to enjoy the serenity of nature- and massive congratulations to Rainbolt for completing that mission and showing us what it's all about! You're an inspiration for so many of us, and that accomplishment is gonna be part of you for the rest of your life!

So glad you got to do this! My grandad (age 75) climbed it when he was 24 and lived in Nigeria at the time. From what he told us, it was like a different planet, just the sheer altitude make you a whole different person. Absolute magic in this vid!

This is actually so cool, you’re literally my idol man I aspire to be able to do things like this like you some day. I’ve never had a moment where I felt incredibly proud of myself, but I know it will happen one day. You’re so sick man, the goat for sure

This guy went from insane GeoGuessr gameplay and finding locations by a single picture to travel the entire world and climb mountains.

He has an insane, meaningful life.

Edit: I fixed it already, you can stop commenting about it

The singing by the locals is very powerful and nice. And even though we in the West have many great things, we've lost some great things along the way too.
