eSPi Tutorial #2: Importing Samples (Sampling Part 1)

Here are the 2 ways of importing audio files into the #eSPi.
The 1st is to simply drag and drop your sample onto the desired pad.
The second involves the sampling menu and allows you to grab a set number of seconds from a full song or long audio file.

Next tutorial will be about sampling fro. external sources, stay tuned.

I want everybody to remember this day. Low -Hiss did what EMU should have many years ago. EMU would have still been a major player in the business today. They created amazing hardware and dropped the ball by bringing back Re-issued models over the year and never taking advantage of the new generation. They came close when they released the launchpad. This what makes Low -Hiss owner is a genius, visionary and a legend. Low-Hiss didn't wait for another company to step up. He learned to Code and Engineer and not only did he recreate the SP-1200, but he also improved and surpass the original vision of EMU. This one guy will/has changed the world of music and humanity. Low-Hiss will inspire a new generation of creators and reinvigorate the great old school producers, who never got out of the basement. They too will be heard thanks to Youtube. I want to thank low-hiss for also being a philanthropist, he practically gave us this jewel for free. Excellent work my friend and you have impacted the world. Once I installed the software, I notice a change in myself...you have awakened my creativity-This will be the software release of the year!

I'm stuck at 1:02 where you click Enter to select audio file. It doesn't do that for me. For me, it prompts <Input: [7:Armed | 9: Record]

How do I sample at 45? I’m on an iPad. I have sample at 45 enabled in the setting on lower right corner of eSPi but when I sample it plays back at 33 or regular, not 45.

I have installed the beta version.
If you assign an audio file to each pad in the same way, some pads will have a very low volume sample.
Also, is it possible to set the simultaneous sound setting (mono, poly) for the samples assigned to the pads? . . . . .
When eSPi software is started by default, pads 6 to 8 of bank A and bank C are mono. The pad of bank B and bank D is poly. . . .
If there is a setting, I want to know it. . .

Can you upload any kind of drum files on this like Native Instruments Expansions? I currently own a Maschine and still have my sp 1200 drum machine but sitting in closet now. I really miss playing on the sp 1200 and the demo of this made me feel like back home again Hardware world. Im looking to buy just waiting for the kinks to iron out and watching reviews

How do I clear a recording for a second attempt? I recorded a sequence that didn’t come out good and I want to clear it, hit record and try it again, but I cannot figure out how to clear the old recording from memory.
