Good gold I hope to be able to find me some pans like that soon! I tried a small hole on quartzville creek today got nothing but few pieces of dust haha

Tried Brice Creek today and got skunked. I don't think that the spot I was panning was ideal however. I used the steps to get down from the campground. The river was pretty high, but there was a gravel bar about 100 yards upstream from the bridge. Saw a couple of tiny specks, but nothing like what you're finding. What's the trick to accessing the river at locations away from Cedar Creek campground?
