Mary needs a raise, she's been such a good researcher for the channel.

She's moved past "chronically online" straight to terminally online. The Internet + manic episodes are never a good combination, but the fact that everything in her life is on the Internet exacerbates the entire situation.

As a person with bipolar disorder, I would describe the onset of my manic episodes as being a dimmer dial rather than a light switch. It's not an instant change from baseline to full-blown manic. I feel it coming on. The symptoms increase and intensify until I'm "there." If a person is undiagnosed/unaware of what they are experiencing, it can feel as though it has come out of nowhere; it definitely appears that way to outsiders looking in because it's difficult to notice the little signs that indicate something's not right.

I had a serious episode of psychosis 7 or 8 years ago that was brought on by anorexia and it was so similar to Gabbie’s that I almost understood the crazy things she was saying. I’m also bipolar and it is eerie how similar our manic/psychotic episodes were. Terrifying and I hope he got the help she needed.

Honestly I can't imagine how any "fan" would think it's remotely okay to even throw fanart and stuff over the wall. Like to be that inconsiderate of another persons privacy and security is disturbing...

It's so hard, because she's monetized her mental breakdowns multiple times. I empathize, I've been there. But now every time I'm just like "is this the set up for a new album?"

I'm diagnosed Bipolar I and seeing Gabbie hit a level 10 in mania is so concerning. I hope the episode starts chilling out soon.

I miss the olden days where Gabbie was just a funny personality on Vine. Hope she gets help/therapy and sticks with it. None of this is normal.

"I teleported to heaven, through a temper tantrum" might just be the funniest sentence I've ever heard. Bravo my dude.

I actually worked in mental healthcare, and yes, you can start having psychotic episodes “out of nowhere” when you already have a deficiency in your brain that you are not aware of. But things like extreme stress or trauma (or drug abuse) can bring these mental health issues to the surface and from then on it’s walking on a tightrope for the rest of your life.

As someone who went through it a few months ago, I definitely feel she's going through psychosis. When you're in that state you fully believe your delusions and think that you've discovered secrets of the universe but just can't properly put that state of euphoria into words.

She actually admitted on her tiktok yesterday that she was having a manic bipolar episode caused by pot edibles which have caused her to hallucinate and have paranoia before. I feel really bad for her though since it all was public.

Honestly, social media is a curse. Gabbie is lucky that guy wasn't there to hurt her.

One of the things that broke my heart the most during my first and only manic episode was the fact that everyone was so ignorant about mental health that they thought I had to be on drugs. I just needed help. And I didn’t get any because I was silently shamed for inflicting it on myself. Which I did not. Mankind needs to be better.

The idea of me being alone and manic inside my home and allowing a male stranger in is terrifying. I feel terrible for her. She clearly has no appropriate support system or action plan in place to be enacted when this happens. You plan when you’re well so things can be streamlined as possible and you can recover quicker when you’re unwell. I also hate how this is entertainment to many people. I also feel like police are not qualified to determine if someone is a risk to their own life. Perhaps they’re mildly qualified to assess threat to others, but they’re not suicide experts. And self harm counts as harm to self. Letting a strange male into your home is so very high risk. She is a danger to herself.

I used to work in a mental health unit and this was sad to watch. I don’t know California laws but I know where I am she can get petitioned and taken to a hospital for treatment. It is so heart breaking to see these public meltdowns (like this one and Kanye West’s breakdown) because it typically does not lead to improvement of the person’s situation.

According to everyone who worked on Joey Graceffa’s show, Gabbie was a nightmare to work with. She was killed off early in her second season because she was so bad.

She is having a complete manic episode and having it on the internet is never a good thing

A little scary how she went from talking nicely to the intruder to all out angry yelling at him.

I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder a few months ago. My grandmother, mother and sister has it so it's a genetic thing. All forms of bipolar are different. My sister has had manic hallucinations, while I almost never experience mania. I feel like mania can come in different forms and shapes. It can have a slow onset or super fast onset. You can turn your back while she's depressed, turn around and she's manic - it just depends on the person because we are all very different. I hope Gabby Hanna gets the help she needs. For me medication and therapy seems to be only things that help us. But posting on YouTube while being manic, makes it worse
