'Life' is the fifth track Tobu has released on NCS. Many of you seem to be really enjoying his music and Tobu really appreciates the support!

Tobu said that deleting all these videos from the NCS channel was only NCS' choice, they didnt have to do it if they didnt want to. Looks like they just choose to remove everything that is not 100% owned by them. If I could I would do everything to keep these videos up on the channel. They could remove the [NCS Release] and change it to [NCS Promotion] or something and have an information in the description that these songs are still copyright free and you can use them only if you credit Tobu in your description, but they are not NCS Releases anymore.

From what Tobu replied to me, the main reason that Tobu didnt renew his contracts for the 2015-2016 songs was that the majority of creators doesnt credit the original artists in their video descriptions, and NCS doesnt care about it. Tobu states everywhere that you can use his music ONLY if you credit him, so the videos where his music is used without crediting him are claimed by him till they put his name in their description. But it only works like this for songs Tobu self-released. All NCS Releases are 100% copyright free even when you dont credit the artist, you can do whatever you want with NCS music and they will never claim revenue from your videos.
He also said that renewing contracts for these songs would mean giving away rights to these songs for 20 years, and he wants to have full rights to his music.
another problem was the false claims of his music, since NCS songs are completely copyright free, some people try to claim some songs as their own and they claim videos that use these songs. tobu songs are free to use, but they cant be falsly claimed by someone else and your vids can be claimed by Tobu if you dont credit him.

All his new songs post-2016 (since Roots) will probably stay on NCS since they are released on newer contracts.
he just had the opportunity to have 100% rights to his 2015-2016 songs and did what he had rights to do. i dont know how much revenue does NCS take, but now Tobu gets 100% revenue from his music, so that makes sence for him.

I dont really know what terms would Tobu accept, but that seems to be the main reasons why all this happened

Tobu is too OP. Even though this song was deleted, it already has 100K views again, and the rest of tobu's songs on this channel have even more views! Tobu is just that famous.
