In this early morning tutorial, I show you how to create a custom templatetag for your Django apps.
We'll start from scratch by creating a project, the app, model, registering the model in the admin, before we actually create the templatetag.
This video will also show some advantages of big IDEs like Eclipse over vim, which I used, because of some typos - which we had to fix to make everything work of course.
I'm also going over piping and the old 'tool' cowsay / cowthink to make your queried content stand-out.
