Dumb comments section. As I understand it Cook was stabbed with a Spanish knife he traded with the Hawaiians, although maybe this video is true that he was drowned we just don’t know. As for the reason of the fight, it wasn’t because “Cook was stupid” nor was it because the “Hawaiians were savage beasts”. It was a disagreement. The Hawaiians were getting sick of the Brits and stole one of their boats to test them. Cook kidnapped their chief in retaliation. Relations were souring and eventually they killed him in a fight and rescued their chief.
