I'm so proud of how this edit turned out!! I started working on it way back in September (around the time I made my ballad of a homeschooled girl edit) & just never went back to it. I had about 60% completed up until a few days ago & I finally got some much need inspo to complete this edit. I wanted to make sure I carefully picked scenes that aligned perfectly with the lyrics, so thats the main reason it took so long. I hope my hard work paid off & you enjoy the edit! Although it deals with heavy themes, I always try to end my edits on a happy or at least hopeful note, which is exactly what I tried to do here. Some of the shows I used are from the 90s/2000s and I sadly couldn't find the scenes without it being in square format. I chose not to zoom in because it lowers the quality, so I hope the black bars aren’t too distracting. And for the clip from Suite Life of Zack & Cody, the highest quality version I found had subtitles so I hope thats not distracting either. Side note: I loathe the thumbnail I made for this, it looks so choppy. . . so excuse that lol

Belle!!! This is excellent! I like how you used a mix of older and newer shows and movies. It shows that no matter how much time goes by, girls are always going to struggle with these kinds of insecurities, so that's why it's important to be there for each other. I thought the quality of the clips was just fine, and your thumbnail looks great too! Better late than never, so don't feel bad about taking a long time to finish an edit.
