No need to sieve it nor ferment it. Just drink it up fresh from the blender. Been doing this for years. Great for gastritis and H Pylori and warding off colds and flu.

Great idea. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

I love how cabbage is packed with healing minerals and vitamin C especially for inflammation. ❤

I found that cabbage juice is extremely beneficial to heal stomach ulcers. So thought to check the best way of making it but why we have put it in the room temperature for 72 hours to ferment it? Can't we drink it fresh?

I would recommend to boil it rather than to ferment it. Boiling will disinfect with any kind of pathogen, and it will be easy on the stomach too.

What in the world!? This should be called "How to make FERMENTED cabbage juice"
Just skip the fermentation and straining process and get your daily fiber right away! Skip the fiber if its too hard on your colon.

this is mildly fermented and would give very bad reaction to people with histamine intolerance. Fresh juice is best done by juicing in juicer tgat separates insoluble fiber and then pour it in glass jar, add 200 mg of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) per 500 ml and place it in fridge. The vit C will keep it fresh and stabilize the nutrients.

I wonder if this improves/cures GERD 🤔

I'd love to give PPI's the boot and live as free and healthy as I can from prescription drugs plus reducing stomach acid isn't actually a good thing obviously and leads to a whole list of consequences.

Dr. Garnett Cheney's protocol for using cabbage juice in the treatment of peptic ulcers:

*Fresh Cabbage Juice:* Patients were given freshly prepared raw cabbage juice. It's important that the juice was fresh because certain beneficial compounds in cabbage can degrade over time.

*Quantity:* The typical amount was around one quart (approximately 946 milliliters) of cabbage juice per day.

*Frequency:* This quantity was divided into several portions, consumed throughout the day. Often, the juice was taken in four to five divided doses.

*Duration:* The treatment usually lasted for a period ranging from a few weeks to several months, depending on the patient's response and the severity of the ulcer.
