Just came back from my P770 fitting and so happy with how it went. I did a lot of research and new irons and went in with the game plan of trying these irons in preference order: P770s, P790s, Calloway Apex AI200/AI300, and Ping i530s. The two finalists were the P770s and the i530s. Settled on the irons I was hoping were the best for me; the P770s. With the same shaft, I was hitting the 770s better, higher launch, better stopping power. To be honest, I was hitting the i530s almost as good, but the stopping power was not as good. I’m sure some of it had to do with my swing, but in the end, the P770s were perfect. Can’t wait to get them!

Have been close many times but have never bought a TM iron or even try them as i know i fall into the trap and buy a new set every other year like i do with my woods! Will stick with my Mizuno’s
