Summer of 2009. Had just came home after my last day of school. I fired this up and played it all day with my brother. He had passed out that night, and I had finally beaten the game, and watched the entire credit sequence. I will always remember that from my childhood.

It hits in such a different way to hear this, knowing this was supposed to be the big finale, the sunset on the series as a whole, and yet, Sonic still got back up and kept running. This song has gone from a sunset to a sunrise y'know? It's like the whole studio saying, "to hell with it, we're not done till we say we're done, " and now with Frontiers doing so well, this song just makes me smile so much

I am part of a band at my high school and we performed this song for a competition and we won first place! Everyone requested that we upload and record our version which we are working on at the moment. This is still my favourite sonic song still and has always been! Been a sonic fan since i was around 6. The nostalgia 😢

When I think that this game exists only because Sega wanted to end the series after the disaster that was 2006, being a game with the best graphics of its time, the most different gameplay in the series, an incredible soundtrack, all with the best possible quality and mainly, as Sonic has always proved to be, something unlike anything we've ever seen. It sucks that just because the game is very different, people hated the game, but even so, this will always be the game that brought me closer to the series and that for the first time I felt that HOLY GOD Sonic is fucking fast (by the way this was also the game that revived the series :D)

Endless Possibility is the best Sonic Theme in the sense that it plays once you’re done. SA2 and 06 you already know Live and Learn + His World, but you don’t listen to this impactful song until you’ve saved the planet and Chip is gone, after an emotional roller coaster can you finally rest with this song. This song is the pinnacle of “A job well done”

I fondly remember Sonic Unleashed for this song as it was just brought a smile and excitement to me every time. It started with the demo on the Xbox 360 in Apotos: whenever I beat the demo, I see the promo trailer displaying what the game had to offer, it was a good bonding experience between myself and my little brother when we were younger, we eventually got the game and we enjoyed every moment. Unleashed is for sure my favourite 3D Sonic game with Mania being my favourite 2D Sonic game.


Apologies for the gushing, it just brings back good gaming memories.
