I have never been to Istanbul so you have opened my eyes quite a lot! The last time I saw anything about Istanbul was in a James bond movie in the 60's but it sure looks a lot different now in real life. Turkey is not a moslem country. İt is secular, state and religion affairs are separated. Alcohol you can find in every places easily.İt is not forbiden but havely taxed.
