In today's video, I share with you one of my top tips for learning new skateboarding tricks quickly. I recently learnt the nollie 360 shove it and share with you my process for learning this new trick which I've applied to pretty much every trick I've learnt.

The 5 rule is a great idea. I fail to do this and it's punished me so much. I'll just go down the wrong route for like 30 attempts and weak myself out physically and mentally. Great edit, Joe.

Great Method summary Joe. So much of skateboarding is the fine tuning of nuances you can only figure out on your own with these little tweaks. These are individual to all our beautifully different body shapes, sizes and the setups and surfaces we're on so it has to be something you work out yourself. I know the Braille videos and all the rest are great but they won't get you all the way.

Nollie big spin is a good looking trick.
I have been trying fakie 3 shuv for a long long long time. Still never landed one.
I do a 5 attempt series when learning 2 new tricks at one time. Like the manual and 5-0. It works well for me and sometime walk away with both. Sometimes.

What the 🤘🔥 I am so bad with back 180s too but I feel like it's getting better as I incorporate it more. Also I wasn't gonna skate haha I was just gonna play fortnite all day but now you have inspired me to maybe go out and skate haha

Joe, any tips on getting your back foot up higher when doing a heelflip? I can get the CLEANEST rotation and i pop em pretty high but EVERY DAMN TIME i attempt one my backfoot stays way too low or just hits the ground and i land with my front foot, ive been stuck like this for a good while too.
