Top 5 Things I Dislike About My New Tacoma

I’ve really enjoyed the past 2000 miles daily driving this 2022 Toyota Tacoma, there's nothing I truly hate about it... Ok, I really do hate the reverse beep.

I actually like all your videos. I too, had a 2016 trail premium 4runner but now have a 2022 TRD Off-Road 4x4. I also, like old school i.e. manual brake, manual tranny, key ignition etc. I paid extra for the rear sonar having had one in my 2013 Raptor and loved it. Can't stand that tiny dial for the radio and can't stand it that reverse is next to 1st gear. By the way, like those bronze wheels also, getting mine mounted next week when my tires arrive. RSG rock sliders installed yesterday.

Have you tried scrolling through the settings on the instrument cluster display? You might be able to turn that reverse alarm off there. Or through the settings on the head unit display on the radio.

Yes the hood, I don’t like that the bed door doesn’t lock itself. Also the automatic starter sucks but yours is a manual. Oh yea and tacomas are slow for these days

The beeping is for all the inexperienced drivers on the road nowadays.

Yup, 1st world problems for sure. There are aftermarket solutions for all the dislikes. If Toyota installed all “fixes” to the dislikes, they’d charge you out the ass for them - so buy the aftermarket fixes & save a ton of money - which you should like!

Agree on the beep reverse . But totally disagree on your preference for LED the ugliest shockingly bright blinding white light that makes everything look like crap . I’m an electrician and I despise how ugly LED makes everything look bit mostly hate how blinding . Love the amber glow of the old lights before they destroyed the beautiful night tune settings with the hospital setting fight or flight street lights . BTW is not environmental as you still have a big electric bill at home so no savings there . And secondly why on earth are LED headlights on cars for the environment ??? It runs on a battery . They are there to blind people and create accidents . How on earth do you not like the amber glow like you said to despise . I beg my neighbors to remove the shocking white ugly light in yards saying I’ll reinstall with the safe and peaceful lighting for free
