Hey bud, thanks for the excellent video and the shout-out! Looks like the speed difference between the 45 and the 40 is a little more than I expected (though it seems to come bundled with a thermal difference too). I think I might stick with my 840 until we get something like an "855" 😁. Good deal - thanks again!

Another banger of a video. The 845 looks cool, but I'm finding that the 840 has a good enough trigger to do a controlled job. That assist mode is nice though.

what do you suggest? is it an big issue not to have speed levels on 840?

The 845 comes with the 5 mah battery and slightly faster charger, while the 840 comes with the 2mah battery and slower charger. Price difference is $219 for the 845 vs $99 for the 840. Damn. I don't have either, but I prefer my impacts to be lighter. I don't have either. But my Makita XDT15RB IMPACT DRIVER is still going strong for me. I only use it around the house and for my RC hobby.
