I own one. I've got a lot of telecasters, been playing them since the 70's. This Custom Shop 53 is excellent, by far the best one I've played.

Hmmm sounds and looks identical to the $500 classic vibe telecaster I recently bought lol. I don't get why someone would pay so much for she exact guitar. I guess you get nitro finish and slightly different pickups... but really not much difference in these telecasters... except good marketing...
