We added more detail to our services, added more specific prices with more details at the advice of SEO company, and added a few more services to the list with the advice of a live GMB phone conversation. By next month, our listing performance stopped being displayed to every relevant service we offer except one; and instead, we now show up under completely unrelated keywords and services we do not offer (nor did we ever offer in past). It would be like if we sold automobiles for 10 years, and now we show up under a donut shop. This is shocking, as everything on our site supports our primary keywords; even our reviews and Google posts support our keywords. How can this go so terribly wrong? You would think Google is intentionally trying to harm our brand.
