It's not dying on the field that Tua needs to worry about. It's living until you're 80. It's forgetting the names of your wife and children. It's forgetting where you live and how to drive around the town you live. It's forgetting your name and your age. It's the headaches and the light sensitivity. It's your hands being so shaky that you can barely eat. It's the crippling depression and the uncontrollable anger. It's your family watching you turn in to someone that they don't know and can never understand. It's losing yourself completely.

I no longer feel bad for Tua. He will choose not to wear a cap and would also make 124 million if he retired now. The concussions must have knocked some intelligence out of him, too.

Let him play, it is his choice knowing what may happen. But the NFL should make him sign away his rights to sue them for any future disabilities that may come up. Also, not hold them responsible for any specialized medical care beyond the regular medical care.

I said this the last time when y'all were saying "it's his choice". I'm not watching him turn his brain into scrambled eggs. He clearly doesn't respect the severity of his situation. Nobody around seems to be trying to bring him to reality. This is going to end in tragedy and everyone is covering it instead of stopping it.

I had this weird dream the other day that Tua was playing again, and was trying to truck players all game just to prove how tough he is, and then his helmet got knocked off of his head as he was going for another dive and hit the top of his head on the helmet of a DT and died right there on the field. It was so tragic I started crying in my sleep and it woke me up. Only a true Dolphin fan and a person who knows who Tua really is would understand why that is totally within his character to do, and realistic enough to freak you out in a dream.

4:13 You know what's worse than a fencing response or loss of balance? Being unconscious after suffering a head injury. Josh Allen was knocked out cold in the Texans game, and minutes later was back in the game after being offered smelling salts. That's worse than anything that's happened with Tua, and nobody is talking about that (except the one doctor I saw do a video on it).

Tua getting these concussions is going to make it harder for more kids/teens to play tackle at the young level because parents are going to see these and not allow them to play. A lot adults want flag football because it’s a safer alternative and people aren’t getting concussions like Tua. Now flag football is expanding to the college level with more colleges offering it. One day flag football could be in the NCAA.

Tua should be told, "either you wear the cap, or you don't play in the NFL anymore."

He needs to be forced by the NFL to wear the cap or don’t play. Because at this point, him saying he loves the game “to the death of me” seems like ominous foreshadowing.
