Listening to this at probably the lowest point in my life. In the Army currently, used to love working out with all my heart. Lifting was my passion since age 18, it legitimately saved my life. Was always at the top of any fitness test while being in the Army. But while I was on deployment, I sustained serious injuries to both shoulders. Partially torn labrum in my left shoulder. Partially torn labrum and rotator cuff in my right shoulder. I've lost everything I ever gained from fitness. I've lost my passion. Seriously contemplated unaliving myself more times than I can count.

Finally, after months and months of waiting, I'm finally going to get the surgeries I need next month (hopefully). I'm going to come back, better than ever. My dream has always been to be either Army Rangers/SF. Once I'm healed, I will fucking realize that dream at any cost, and I will get in such good shape physically that even the person I was several years ago will pale in comparison. Mark my words. Once I'm healed fully, it's over.
