This is for a fact AI a sergeant would not be commanding a lieutenant around. In fact a lieutenant is in direct command of sergeants

AI only based on the name of the soldier. Ai uses the names “cooper” and “Rodriguez” a lot in these military Reddit story’s

If a sergeant was talking to a lieutenant like that, he saw it would have a quick easy ride up because lieutenant out ranked Sergeant by quite a margin

I would have yelled out “Not a Peep!” Instead of 210 !

The sergeant wanted to hear “not a peep” …

My dad said the clown from class got away with it because he would make the drill instructors break and laugh. And whenever he got told to do something he would yell "Thank you drill sergeant, i love you drill sergeant."

I kinda ended up the class clown. I was introverted as fuck. But, drills know how to push you past that. Plus I was an idiot who told my drill that I was petrified of the pt test. Mainly the pushups. So, he told me every time I saw him, I drop and give him 50. You know how many times you see your drill in a day? Three days later, after night maneuvers, I told him that the flare they used, I was too close and now I can’t see. That part was true, but I was only blinded a few hours, but he didn’t know that. So, he countered it to every time I see him, drop and give 100. Went to firing range and told drill I forgot ear protection and now I can’t hear. It became a game for him. Trying to find ways to drop me. He accomplished the mission. I was able to do pushups at the test site. I actually did double the required amount. Then my drill came up and told me to stop, I passed. I thanked him for all the help. I would not have passed without him. Which was dumb, because he still dropped me. Only 20 that time, but still. That fucker dropped me after passing the push-up test.

That turnes i was smiling til the end it's like that scrubs joke. "Scared the hell out of charlie, oh not the enemy son you pilot." Face turns cold "He didn't make it!"

Okay, out in field there are two people you want in your unit, especially on midwatch. Yes that technical person who knows their job very well. And then that person who makes you laugh, even if they arent good at their job. They are important

Interesting story. Unfortunately, you do not get the lieutenant getting on the Sergeant for yelling him around.

That's why I'd never join the military. If I hated school, I'd definitely hate this!
