If you watch her podcast Empty Inside, there are reasons why she opted out of the reboot and she quit acting a few years ago. Since then, she has pursued the things she’s passionate about. Like writing, directing, producing and her podcast.

As much as the fans (including me) want her to return to the reboot, I rather see Jennette happy doing what she loves to do and I accepted the fact she has moved on.

To the iCarly fans who want Jennette back, we should respect her wishes. Even Miranda Jerry and Nathan said so.

They said they are happy for her and wish her well and that the door is open for her to return anytime.

Also as well as Noah Munck as Gibby too! P.S. hoping he and T-Bo returns.

I’m kind of happy Jenette isn’t coming back, so it won’t be an exact reboot with full cast. It’s kind of a reflection of real life, not all of your friends are gonna be around after life moves on but your memories of them will always be there.

Although I’ll miss Sam, I definitely will support the new characters just the same. Adding new people makes the plot and show more like how real life is. Most of our friends don’t stay that long in our lives and we meet new people.
