What would the Avengers look like with totally different actors from these time periods?
Welcome back, ScreenRanters! The 2012 Avengers film was a turning point at Marvel. As it helped to turn the MCU into the juggernaut it is today. Well, as we like to ponder things in film, we had an idea. What if the Avengers flick was being made in the 80s and today? Well, that’s what we’re going to explore today! We’re doing some fan castings! We’ll look at the main characters from 2012, such as Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow and more! As well as Loki since he’s the main villain! Then, we cast actors from the 1980s and today instead of the current crop of actors. If you enjoy this, we might continue with more franchises and other eras!
Now for the spoiler paragraph. If you want to be surprised, we suggest you stop reading and watch the video multiple times! For our 80s list, we’ve gone with a mix of thespians. We have up and comers, as well as actors that were at their peak for star power. Such actors include Johnny Depp, Kevin Costner, future Batman Val Kilmer, and Robert De Niro. We also have some surprises! We’ll give you a hint. One of the actors is known for their great moustache. And it’s not the one FRIEND you’re thinking of. For the modern era, we have a range of big names and future stars of film and TV. There’s the X-Men’s Jennifer Lawrence, Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles, The Gentlemen’s Charlie Hunnam, Channing Tatum, and more surprises! Here’s a hint for one of the surprises. One of the actors is involved with the BBC’s Sherlock series!
