Why Do Astronauts Float In Space?

The Moon is held in place by the gravity of the Earth. So why do astronauts float in space? Shouldn't gravity affect them too? This short animated video answers this question.

Whats the difference between a plane and this? Why in a speed of a plane we dont usually feel this? We are feeling the Gravity too and we can walk inside of him. Just a question, dont take me wrong, I don't mean the video is wrong, just digging the physics.

Actually no, it is not falling, since the elevator is going directly down and the space ship is going horizontal as best it can until it turns. Elevator drops to the earth you go in the opposite way, which is up. On the ISS the opposite way would be backwards to the direction of motion.

Really, if you are going to claim something, make it at least similar. The decay in orbit that would validate you is too slow. So gravity based on strength and inverse square law has to ignore objects too small based on distance far enough away.

Proof is the people moving on the ISS in different directions, you can say they are moving with inertia, great, they are not falling if they are moving with inertia. Have fun.

God has a rocket and he shoot the earth to the sun and now earth is orbiting the sun
