Asking a real estate agent whether you should buy a home right now is like to asking an alcoholic whether they think you should have a drink lol. Homes in my neighborhood that cost around $450k in sales in 2019 are now going for $800 to $950k. Every seller in my neighborhood is currently making a $350k profit. Simply unreal. In all honesty, deflation is what we require. The only other option is for many people to go bankrupt, which would also be bad for the economy. That is the only way to return to normal.

Yeah, cause if you default on your loan they can just take the real-estate. Can take a failed business or a worthless stock.

Real estate is something with real world value that they can take. There are subsets of that as well. If you own land and want to get money for a house, it is even easier to get the loan.

If you don't know the difference between a secured and unsecured loan, you shouldn't be borrowing money.

Real estate is a waste of time, there is no such thing as passive income.ladies and gents. The ROI on a business is 30x more than real-estate. Invest in yourself young and buy the less active safe investments later in life .
