Remarkably Bright Creatures was surprisingly good! I didn't think I would enjoy it, but it really stuck with me. An octopus narrator was was really interesting twist.

This Summer Will Be Different was significantly better than her book from last year. I am excited to read One Star Romance. Looks super cute.

I love Elin Hilderbrand! I've met her twice at book signings and she's so down to earth. Definitely not for older ladies haha. I really liked 28 Summers and Summer of '69. Her podcast, Books, Beach & Beyond is great. Highly recommend her!

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Carley Fortune’s first two books and didn’t plan on reading her new one but it was chosen for my in person book club, so I did. I actually liked it. If you like Anne of Green Gables, I think you would enjoy it.
Also, Beautiful Bright Creatures was one of my favorite books from last year! It will make you cry, but I think you would like it.

I loved Remarkably Bright Creatures - it alternated with another book as my top book of last year. I read Love at First Book this year and really enjoyed it. Have fun with your stack!

Bright Remarkable Creatures was really good. It started slow for me but after a couple chapters I was really getting involved with the characters. It ended up being one that was memorable to me. ❤

I read Remarkably Bright Creature and loved it 5 stars. Then my book club picked it and I reread listening to it on audio again loved it and it was even better due to the narration. Omg the narrator voices Marcellus the octopus so well. It is a wonderful read, loved it. One of my all time favorite books♥️📚

Hi Heather, can you please start including the spice level of books in your wrap-ups? Since you recommended Just another Love Song I’ve been looking for less steamier books. Thank you!

Hi Heather!! First read has to be Remarkably Bright Creatures (and I bet it sends you down the rabbit hole about octopuses 🐙 lol). But you MUST listen to it. I very rarely do audiobooks for anything other than memoirs or self help. This one was FAB!! Do yourself a favor and go listen now 😊
