Why is this so funny, and yet so fitting? Perhaps it’s because the time period is one of the more silly ones, and that something as boring as walking doesn’t do the clothes justice? Perhaps it’s watching all the curls and ribbons and things flutter as the wearer stately stands on her scooter, flying along so dignified? Whatever the reason ... I love it. 😁
