Sweet! I have two of these and on 6s they are at about 98amps!! The power is great too! Love them!

At least this guy is getting ten times the thrust of others! Love it!😅😅

What your referring to is the difference between static thrust and in flight thrust, in flight you have a rush of air based on your speed, the air coming into your fan increases your thrust. Some fan profiles are better for this than others

i have the fms futura v3 which comes with the 3665 motor but plastic EDF its on 6s stock, can it take 7s out the box ( i have upgraded the ESC to a HW 130A)

Being that motor more heavy than the 3280 2100 kv from FMS would have probably more power and handle better that extra power than the other? Interesting, that the Freewing one clocked just more thrust on the bench... maybe the number of blades make a difference... or motor power reserves for working under heavy load

Good work man, thanks for sharing. Disregard my previous question lol

How much does the fb weigh? AliEx says 350g but that's what the fan weighs in plastic form and not the metal one. Cheers

That’s really impressive !! My 80mm jetfan 1865kv on 8s is meant to be 3.7kg of thrust.
I’m tempted to buy the fms unit and try it. I would be lighter on 7s and in theory fastest and have a better vertical! 😎

Can you bench test 8S setup?. I'm keen to run my FW Jas39 on 8s like you promoted on your other video

That's impressive. Shame it drops to about 2.7ish kg when installed in the futura. It's a big drop. Motor might pick up a little after running in though

Fms also puts more time on designing their fans and fw does not. Hence the performance in the plane being better with fms… my experience anyway
