Harris Powder Duster

For applying fine powders like Diatomaceous Earth, the Harris Powder Duster is easy to use
and spreads dust and powders with less mess.

Literally upside down, might be appropriate for some uses but if you are using for indoor pest control you need a very thin layer of dust (if you can write your name in it you put down too much). Much better to have yellow side up and shake gently before each spray. I have this exact model and I almost threw it away until I realized the instructions were bad.

You can use it both ways: with the yellow part and the nozzle on the bottom, or the yellow part and nozzle on top. With the yellow base on bottom it sprays a thick spray, with the yellow base on top, a thinner spray. The instructions tell you not to overfill it, start out with 1/4 full.
