Crossway ESV Hebrew/Greek and English Side by Side

I want to lead this off by saying, I don’t know Hebrew or Greek. I know a few words here and there, but I love being able to see the Bible in its original language. I especially love the look and sound of Hebrew. Recently, our Bible School director passed away and she spoke Hebrew really well. I was always fascinated by her and would constantly ask her questions. With that said...

I absolutely love that Crossway now has a Hebrew/Greek Interlinear! I’ve got several Interlinear Bibles but the ESV is my FAVORITE translation. So to be able to read my favorite translation and work to figure out which word matches the English word is very rewarding. I am a very visual person so being able to see the language in written form is so powerful to me.

This set features a beautiful cloth over board cover and the binding is secured with reinforcement with is nice. One thing I REALLY love is they aren’t afraid to make them thick so the font can be large enough to read for almost anyone. (11pt for NT and 10.5 for OT. It’s also very interesting that the elected to do single column for the New Testament and double column for the Old Testament (definitely a good call or it would be even thicker.)

Yup, I love hebrew and greek and I have my own copies of the Tanakh, the Septuagint and also my own Nestle Aland Greek New Testament. Wonderful to know that ESV now has their own hebrew and greek. Are both interlinear translations to ESV?

Sorry. These are not interlinears. Thanks for showing them, though! Nice books.

The hebrew text is read and written from right to left, in contrast on how we read and write in English.
