If you cut the bristles not much, maybe about 2-3 millimeters the the tips of the bristles get sharp again and when you brush you get that new toothbrush feel and clean. Of course it will still have all your plaque and bacteria but if you can’t buy a new brush it helps

I'd love to try that, but I have a Spin Brush and don't know if it would hurt the electric part.

I put a tiny binder clip on my bristle head and held it in a pot of boiling water for 5 min. Than put in the freezer for 1 hour. Let sit on counter overnight. In the am take off the binder clip. All new! I’m not paying 20$ for my electric toothbrush heads anymore

Just brush with warm water instead of cold. I've never had to do this.
