For trigonometry, we often need to solve trig equations. This time, we are solving a trigonometric equation on the real number line: sin(2x) = -1.

Since the domain is not restricted, we need to come up with a general formula for all the solutions. To do this, we observe the pattern for a few solutions and add an integer multiple of 2π to one of the solutions to get a general formula.
