When Naveen (Karan Soni), a soft spoken doctor, finally brings his charming white-artist boyfriend Jay (Jonathan Groff) home to meet his traditional Indian family, misunderstandings and emotional revelations put everyone on edge. I like the twist that Groff's character was raised in an Indian family. It'd be funny if Groff is actually in some ways more culturally Indian than the other guy. And Zarna Garg is ALWAYS worth watching in a comedy, as is Harish Patel who's done so much good comedy over the years...and holy crap that's that actress from the Turn Down for What video!

I don't go to the movies much, but I would definitely take my partner to see this movie! As a black man in a gay relationship with a white guy, this still speaks to me as an interracial love story. This type of gay representation is desperately needed!
