Fun fact: It was Christianity's quest for the truth that gave rise to the Scientific Method.

I'd love to see a video on why Nietzsche loved Dostoevsky

One of my favorite passages in Genealogy of Morals is where Nietzsche excoriates Luther: "Luther’s resistance to the mediating saints in the Church (in particular to the ‘devil’s sow, the Pope’) was, no doubt, basically the resistance of a lout irritated by the Church’s good etiquette, that reverential etiquette of hieratic taste, which only admits the more consecrated and silent into the holy of holies, and closes it to louts. These were absolutely not going to be allowed a voice here – but Luther, the peasant, wanted a complete change, it wasn’t German enough for him: above all, he wanted to speak directly, in person and ‘without ceremony’ to his God... Well, he did it.– The ascetic ideal, you have guessed, was never anywhere a school of good taste."

I was recently talking to a friend about weather and environment influencing your thoughts! It's a fascinating concept!

It would be cool if you did an in depth analysis video focusing on kant, or spinoza similar to that what you did for schopenhauer.

One perhaps could add another German to the bunch even if Nietzsche doesn't cite him a son of a Jewish convert to Protestantism, Karl Marx who also pushed for an internationalist ideology that although did away with theology, was Christian in spirit, concerning the geography I find the argument a bit simplistic as Ireland, Poland, Lithuania, and Hungary(to name a few)are Catholic, these are not countries with warm climates plus Protestantism was spreading and succeeding in countries with warmer climates such as France(ie the Huguenots), it was just snuffed out, which was not the case in Britain for instance, where it was the other way around, and it had nothing to do with the weather but because a man wanted to ditch his Spanish wife.

The video title is "How Kant Saved Christianity" but the video itself does not talk about how Kant saved christianity. So how does Kant's philosophy lead back to christianity?

Would love to see the similarities between religion and climate

I pity Nietzsche; how is it a man so well educated and so intelligent could have so easily thrown away Orthodox Christianity. He focuses so much on the western patriarch that he completely ignores the other patriarchs! He was too obsessed with the western half of the great schism and too lazy about everything before it. I, however, will always admire the quality of Nietzsche's thought.

LOVED this video. Since Orthodoxy was the beginning, would you describe Catholic as a "West / South West European" split, and then Protestant as a "North split"?
If so, would Anglican be a "Miserable UK" split? Hahaha!
