The PS affinity method is a novel Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) isolation method using Tim4 protein, which captures phosphatidylserine on the surface of EVs in the presence of calcium ion.
With this method high purity and large recovery amount of EVs can be achieved, and in addition, the handling is easy and reproducibility is good. Captured EVs can be easily released by adding chelating agents such as EDTA to obtain almost intact EVs.
