We use hscope and the hs512max with in cylinder pressure transducer to verify that the timing is bad on this car.

Also we use the hantek 1008c and hantek software and a waveform from the rotkee library to check out cam and crank signals before we get into hscope... It's things like this that make me believe that a scope is necessary to properly diagnose today's cars without guessing and one of the many reasons that I enjoy doing this work so much...
