Ukraine War: Drone footage shows Marinka devastation

Marinka, a city in eastern Ukraine, has been devastated by ongoing fighting between Russian forces aligned with Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) separatists against Ukrainian forces

Sky News has verified and geolocated drone footage, but cannot independently confirm the date, said to be filmed on 15 January 2023.

Marinka is located 15 km from Donetsk. for 11 months of the war, the Russians could not go 15 km, but they planned Kyiv, Lvov, Warsaw

By seeing these heartbreaking images, i made an unconscious comparison between the devastation seen on by wwii footage and the one here, obviously while in wwii even after a series of serious massive bombardment one could see lot's of standing buildings, in this one the destruction reminds the possible outcome of a nuclear explosion....😢
