I owned one for 3 years
My first bike . Learn to ride on it and took my test.( passed by the way).
It was a 1964 model in Blue.
Also had a BSA Super Rocket and a Velocette Venom Thruxton
But the Honda was the most reliable.

Correction! Many more than 288(?) worldwide; 100’s in UK and certainly 1, 000’s in US. However, as it was such a ‘performer’ they were typically thrashed, abused and often not well maintained. Consequently, they’re fairly rare nowadays, saw only 1 @ Jerby IOM Classic TT (beautiful restoration) in 2016. If only Honda would remake a 60’s ‘Dream Collection’ using 21st C tech etc. I’d be there 1st in queue😜

More swept braking area than a 1000cc Vincent, all ball & needle roller bearing engine I had one of these as my first bike in 1966.
