This looks like it's gonna be one of those films that's all buildup and eerie happenings, and then in the end they conclude with zero explanation whatsoever.

it's always cool to see how a writer/director can squeeze a gripping movie out of 1 actor in 1 location.

Great film! A lesson on how to make cinema and to narrate an alien invasion with just one character in one place! Kudos to the director and the amazing actress!

Looks great! Lily Sullivan is such a great actress, loved to see her on the Evil Dead franchise, hope to see her back.

I loved it...I wonder if it was adapted from a play? It could easily be done on stage by one person with a slimmed-down set and a sound engineer doing the phone calls and sound effects.

I love this trailer. You have no idea what's going on but it keeps you engaged.
Can't wait to watch it!

Lots of hype in the reviews you see in the trailer. Let's hope the film actually lives up to that hype.

I'm intrigued, and I have no idea what's going to happen in this movie.
That's what a trailer is supposed to accomplish.

waho! So the entire movie is set in a 12 by 24 room with one actor? Who could come up with such ingenuity that has never been tried before in the history of movie making! Amazing!

A bit of a tangent but is the house in the trailer the same (or at least parts shown) the same as the one in Arrival? Where Amy Adams' character lived.

Okay i get the feeling we've seen the best of the movies tense dramatic scenes compressed into the trailer and the whole movie isn't going to be what we expected from this trailer but a slow role into the story

"Jaw-droppping"! OK, I know this type of movies. Slow burning, and pointless end...

Lily Sulivan can easily be the live action actress for Jill Valentine ❤

You can't hypnotize someone into doing something horrible, like killing a loved one. But you can hypnotize someone into thinking their loved one is evil, has been replaced, or is possessed.

The bricks are clearly a metaphor for the burdens that our actions hold throughout life. This is shown how each character interacts with them. The mc is burdened by her decision to lie and manipulate perspectives starting from her childhood where she was jealous of someone else. In turn, the impacted family talks about how their “brick” was stolen which is referencing how their hard work was going to be rewarded by paid schooling which was taken away as the only way for subsequent retribution for the lying MC’s father. The art collector has accumulated “bricks” through his dishonest acquisition of art. Each character is inevitably confronted by their decisions as they try to understand their own past “secrets”. The reason they all state that the bricks just appear is that they refuse to acknowledge their actions. MCs brick is thrown up because she has used her “voice” to distort and manipulate people in her favor.

Overall a really good use of manipulation and personal perspective to deliver what is an actual horror that most people can live through by their regretted decisions
