What is that black dude going on and on about? He is all over the place. India has the right to defend itself given the history of conflicts within the subcontinent.

Secondly, the word "Kaffir" was NOT derogatory. I don't know why everyone keeps repeating this over and over again. The word became derogatory after the 1950s when Apartheid was created. Before that, it was a generic term for Black South Africans who were referred to by Muslim traders who called anyone who doesn't believe in Islam as Kaffirs. Please do some research online about the etymology of the word. Many words we use now were used very differently in old English.

Thirdly, Blacks were freed from slavery in the 1830s. Indians were NOT. They were shipping Indians as Indentured labor who were living through horrendous conditions in South Africa. There were several reasons why an Indian identity had to be created to help these Indentured labor. There was also an issue with how British classified Indians and Blacks and how it affected how Indians could be engaged in other occupations other than being Indentured labor. In any case, after a lot of back forth, the Indians were allowed to join the British army as Ambulatory corps, which in itself was a major achievement for Indian Indentured labor.

Fourthly, Remember how conditions at the time were so horrendous at the time. The whites tried to lynch Gandhi. How many times was he not beaten up?

Fifthly, The Blacks were free from Slavery as compared to Indians. What have the Blacks done to help Indians anyway???

Sixthly, Dalits are not blacks. They are genetically different than Sub Saharan Africans. What is this guy going on about?! And what does he know about separate electoral votes anyway. The British created the separate electoral vote system which is what created the major religious rifts in India with people rioting against each other's communities. This was the starting point of how India split into 3 different countries. Wasn't that not enough??? If there was a separate electoral vote for Dalits, it would have meant that there would be even more groups fighting with each other.

There is so much out there about Gandhi that it brings into question why there is so much obsession with Gandhi in the first place?? Why is there not so much talk about the Whites who created slavery? Why are they not talking about Black warlords who were instrumental in the Slave trade? Why are they not talking about ANC's and their practice of Necklacing? Why is no one talking about what happened to Indians during Durban Riots?
