Stop the hype? McLaughlin delivered a good professional performance, certainly for a season opener. But 52.67 is solid but not shocking, given her ability, and her opposition was WEAK. A number 2 who runs 54.5 and a number 3 who runs 55.02? McLaughlin would have won this in her *training outfit.*

Good idea having a meet outside the USA in Jamaica with its sprinting history, and it looks like a good crowd considering the size of the country & Kingston itself. There were more people at my kids Elementary School Track meet on Wednesday then were here. If this is what Grand Slam Track is about then it will be one year and done. Frankly unless they can get Femke Bol then it will continue to be yawner Sydney wins.
