That sludgy riff in the second half of the song was the heaviest riff ever recorded back 1973, and still sounds like that today.

"Man, that riff was sick!" Pretty much what everyone says when they listen to Sabbath songs. 😁
Tony Iommi was the original metal riff lord. So many killer riffs from this band. Great choice, Jamel! 🤘🔥

It’s a crime not to listen to ‘A National Acrobat’ straight after that

Black Sabbath way ahead of their time geniuses.

I love when the song breaks and it goes into the acoustic overlays, a mature Black Sabbath here.

Still some of the filthiest guitar riffs ever recorded!

Still the heaviest riff ever. Scary shit when we first heard it as kids many years ago. Hearing that come through the speakers for the first few listens while looking at the LP art was terrifying and exhilarating!

The tuned down guitar at 4:45 and then Ozzy belting out on top of it is as heavy as metal gets.

"Hand of Doom" You'll choke on your own astonishment, Jamel!

This is the Ozzy I prefer: almost out of his range. He sounds so desperate and maniacal.

Please check out "A National Acrobat" off this same record. I know you'd vibe with the lyrics. Plus it's one of Iommi's greatest riffs.

I love how I heard that high pitch voice and that nice riffs, just by reading the title.
