The goal of this project was to remove heat from the turbo through heat soak.  The largest issue that we had was not to make the Polaris RZR Turbo S any louder than it already was.  Most aftermarket exhausts will allow for a free flowing exhaust that can get very loud.  That might be nice short term, but on a long day riding the extra noise is not so cool.

Our research took us to HMF who makes a lot of different systems for the Polaris models.  They make mild to wild in sound and in colors.  You can buy just about anything from stainless steel to lime green for looks.  The same is applicable when it comes to sound.  They have the Titan QS quiet series up to the Titan SS Big Core series and a few in-between.

Our choice was the Titan QS series in a Stainless Steel finish for a little flash, but the goal was less sound and a cooler exhaust without that pesky cat in there creating heat that soaks back to the turbo.  There is no doubt that the quality in this system lives up to the HMF brand.  Opening the box was an experience and the beauty of this system is beyond all others we have seen.  Installation was simple and straight forward.  The sound is just slightly deeper, but when on the throttle, it is quiet.  It is quieter than the stock exhaust!

This exhaust will allow for other mods if wanted, but it does not need a tune to keep the air-fuel mixture in line.  This can be a simple bolt on to reduce noise or to get more looks with less heat.  The exhaust delivers in so many different ways.

Hey there Brian! I know this vid is a couple of years old (I'm typing this message on Nov 16, 2020), but I just wanted to say that you did an EXCELLENT job with this vid. My interest in an aftermarket exhaust is similar to yours in that I have no desire to have a louder Turbo S, and to be honest, I'm not interested in more power than the Turbo S already delivers. My interest is having a cooler running machine by getting rid of the cat and reflashing the ECU to enrichen the fuel/air ratio for a cooler running engine. Also, your "easy to understand" installation instructions and handy tips are VERY helpful! Again, great job on this vid! Thank you for creating it and posting it here on YT!

Sounds a bit more throaty and beefy! My STOCK Exhaust sounds like crap after 500 miles.... RZR PRO XP!

Great video! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. We have a 2021 Polaris General 1000 XP. The extreme heat in the driver and passenger areas areas are terrible. Do you know of a way to reduce the heat being generated by the radiator? Thanks!

So it didn't make it quieter, and it still runs hot. Am I missing something here?

Is this maintenance free? Or does the packing need replaced after so many hours/miles?

im more interested in the dents in the stock muffler and the pen marks i took mine off because of a rattle at the muffler heat sheld cover and found the muffler dented and paint pen marked and bj written on it .... the pipe/muffler was not blue yet id done only 19 kms... i told and showed my dealer about this and got a new muffler supplied under warranty it is also dented (from new unused ) but on the opposite side /front rather than back ... the paint marks are from quality inspection i believe and the dents are from poor handling as they are chucked into a crate at the factory ... any one else seen this

I honestly do not like this exhaust set up. First, I wouldn't go with this in the first place. However, lets say I did. If I did, I would weld a Y pipe after the mufflers to rejoin the flow from both into one and have a single exhaust output. The way this is set up, the upper muffler is going to discolor the lower muffler over time with the exhaust output unless you wash it all the time. Second, all you really need to do is add a stock OEM resonator and muffler from a small 4 cylinder car and it will be very quiet. No need to go out and get these fancy exhaust that really aren't a two piece system anyway. You need a resonator AND muffler to make it quiet.
