He no longer speaks to the woman that initially helped him move his things in. Sounds about right. He burns everyone that offers him help.

Friends like him make it bad for others who really need and would appreciate good friends!

His excuse that he worked 16 hours a day and so he only used the place to sleep just shows how ungrateful this person is. He’s really not appreciating the fact that his friend put a roof over his head, with no roommates and for only $250 in LA even though he was working 16 hours a day and making money. His friend really tried to help him get on his feet and he doesn’t see that. Your going to learn one day.

Look at how you treat the man that tried to help you the next time you’re wondering why life is so hard and why you’re homeless. #Karma

No good deed goes unpunished. Seriously, so many people would have been so appreciative for help and done everything to help him back.

About 15 years ago, I helped a neighbor/friend out as she was leaving an abusive relationship. Since I was staying more at my partner's house most of the time, she had the place all to herself. Stayed there rent free (2 months) and even got her a job at the company I was working with at the time. Noticed she hadn't been showing up to work lately and became super concerned. Stop by my place to check on her and lo behold, her and her husband was in the living room having sex. I immediately kicked her out. My apartment was meant to be a place of safety/shelter at least that was our understanding when she first moved in. Looking back now, I realized there was more to the story then initially told. I haven't stopped helping others but now use more discernment.

I love that smile JJ gave the defendant and he smiled awkwardly back. That's JJ way of saying "Im on your side".

The young man who let the guy stay there for $250 a month is a man of INTEGRITY. I used to live in LA and it is NO JOKE! It's expensive. That $250 is a spit in the bucket. The guy who was ABOUT to be homeless...should have taken care of his responsibilities and followed through with getting his OWN apartment. I think he was on his way to becoming a squatter!🤣and thought he could get away with it😉

My brother has pulled this crap on several people. He's a pro at getting everyone to feel sorry for him.

The nerve he has to sue a person that sheltered him. There’s a saying that goes ‘don’t ever bit the fingers that fed you’

This is why it isn’t easy to help ANYONE. You are in one headspace when you offer to help, and the person that you’re helping is in a “I’m getting over on you” headspace. That’s their M.O. They’re like honeybees, flying from one flower to the next, sucking up nectar. The biggest difference is that the bee gives back, but the moocher just takes and takes and takes. Then they turn around and sue you for being a nice guy in the first place.

He must not realize how pitiful he sounds making up excuses for every damn thing

He seems like the kind of guy that’s always burning bridges.

The plaintiff seems as if he just goes around burning bridges left, right and center. 🤦🏾‍♀️

This is pretty close to what happened to me with someone. They had nowhere to go, and I said they could stay for a little. I charged a similar amount too. The second I started calling them out for making risky and unsafe choices, they left and burned that bridge with me. I realize now this person had done this with everyone in their life. I’ve finally started opening up again and being willing to be kind after all that.

So he used a woman to help him move. I’ll bet my own paycheck that she bought his lunch too. What a gem he is.

He doesn’t talk to the woman who helped him move in. He’s suing the man who gave him a roof over his head. Seems like a guy who thinks the world owes him something, likes to burn bridges, and then whine when he can’t find anyone to help him. F boy, dust mite vibes. Got the nerve to be suing him!

That’s why if you want to help someone, PROTECT your space especially if you have children…. It’s better to pay for a week for someone to stay at a hotel then bring them into your home … Not everyone is like this but I would say most of the time it ends crappy like this.
