I want criminals to be caught, but not at the expense of our freedoms. I believe governments requiring social media platforms to share private conversations with the police upon request without any probable cause, court order, and supervision of a judge is the same as illegally wire tapping someone's phone. There is too much evidence showing that police, FBI, CIA, and other government agencies violate the law and our privacy under the guise of doing what is right.
