What does it mean if your significant other talks about an ex girlfriend/boyfriend

If your partner/husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend talks on a pretty regular basis about an ex, there is a problem. There is no reason in the world why he/she should continue to bring up an ex girlfriend or boyfriend. You need to rethink the relationship if this is happening. And sure, you could sit down with him and have a chat, but he will deny,deny,deny. Remember, you have to be number one in someone's life. Don't settle for less.

If someone is talking about there ex and your on a date with them or just even hanging out, and they say they like you but all of a sudden start talking about an ex. That's means they are using you as a rebound.

Great video! I just had to break up with a great guy because he was constantly talking about his ex-girlfriends. One of them was even still in love with him and wanted to stay "friends". It drove me crazy, there was just no reason for it. Another of his ex's had even passed away due to some horrible illness, and she was a model. He was constantly talking about her figure and how she was invited to the playboy mansion. I felt like I was competing with a ghost! I took a break. He didn't change, I moved on. Best decision ever!

ALSO! If there is someone who goes on and on about how horrible their ex was, this is a RED FLAG, especially if they are referring to a past long term relationship. Wonderful people don't choose horrible people as mates. What they're saying is that they are actually pretty horrible themselves, or at BEST, weak and desperate.

I’m going through this with a guy too. First he told me his whole break up story with her two dates in with me and I was like, “hmm...okay. That’s horrible what she did.” Second, he told me about how he’s still friends with some of his exes and that one is like a sister to him. Uhh... My ex girlfriend used to Always talk about her ex and i honestly didn't care at all. I just stopped taking anything seriously. I started talking about my ex as a response because we were on the topic so much I thaught I may aswell. She went crazy acussing me of not being over my ex when I only Brought it up because she talked about her ex all the time. So I left her I decided she's crazy. I've had two guys talk about their exes all the time and they were actually a few ex girlfriends and it didn't really make me feel good... so I turned them down. A man should be giving me his entire attention and not bring up his past girlfriends at all. Maybe he isn't over them yet but is in a hurry to get a new girl to take her place. I'm currently going through this.. been dating for 5 months now and since day one he been talking about not one ex but 2! The best way to get your girlfriend to stop talking about her ex and her sex exploits to tell her up front is not acceptable that if she doesn't stop push those men out of your relationship because eventually things will go back and she will have sexual relations with her ex. Never allow another man in your house when you're not home unless it is a cousin brother or father
