I wouldn't wear it either.... but you must not know who KAWs is, it will 100% sell out. Those "cartoon character" statues sell for millions. They have them sitting on top of buildings in Hong Kong.

I agree, this does look like a rich man's Invicta, I obviously isn't intended to be worn, it is more like a modern art installation which is all about the money and hype. With the hideous 45mm Cubitus from Patek and the CEOs dispicable comments, the only brand of the ¨holy trinity¨ left with a decent reputation is VC.

KAWS is a fine art artist one of the top artist at that. Alot of people who own AP's and collect modern art probably have his art in their homes.

I feel they are trying to stay inside their design ethos and try reaching out to younger audience. I mean tbh I won’t wear this one but I’m sure there are a lot of people who would buy this for sure. I feel they are trying something different as a brand to be relevant to the younger generation and I think it’s good rather than being all serious. That’s what I take from this collab atleast.

I understand the view but they also have to cader to the "younger" generation which they are doing this artist is pretty known with the "hype" generation. I dont like this one personally but the john mayer collab is amazing probably one of my favorites . even the travis scott is really nice i dont even like his music but its a nice watch i dont see anything wrong with big brands having fun it doesnt have to be all that serious.

They are f***ing up the history of a well renamed watchmaking Maison. The spyder and then this one are horrific toys.
I’ve never been too interested on AP but now much less.
What about the PP Cubitus? Another big fail IMO. PP is now a cashing machine, same as Rolex. They don’t give a s***t about collectors and enthusiasts. It’s only about money.

If i wanted an intricate carving bracelet i can get one from Thailand for $10 and it will have way more authenticity. These swiss dudes are kooky, same with that Patek.
